Carters Steam Fair comes to Chalkwell Essex

By April 8, 2015No Comments

This Easter weekend (April 2015) Carters Steam Fair came to town, visiting Chalkwell Park, Essex. It was a first for the vintage fair, which tours the south of England. There was a nominal £1 entry fee to the fair, with proceeds going to the Southend Mayor’s Charity.

The fair featured the famous Wall of Death, Dodgems, Pendulum rides and an array of vintage vehicles and signage.

Here’s a few photos from the Chalkwell Park, Southend event.

Although some of the field was muddy from the previous night’s rainfall, the weather was great and the event greatly received.

Let’s hope Carters Steam Fair becomes a regular visitor to Essex and the Southend area.
