Changes to the Lovemoney.com site – Sept 09

Design and front end coding of www.lovemoney.com user profile pages.

Users who left comments on articles, often had to explain the background to their opinion. That they were staff or had no vested interest in advice given (users who commented on movement of the housing market were often cited as estate agents).

Existing user profiles also lacked some of the standard social networking features common on many community focused sites. Improvements to user profile pages include; allowing users to follow other active users, add biography information and other small tweaks. Here’s a synopsis on the lovemoney.com’s web blog.
