WordPress – Adding a profile picture to comments

By December 3, 2014December 10th, 2014One Comment

Adding a profile picture to comments you post on WordPress sites or on your own author profile is easy.

Create a gravatar login

You’ll need to create a gravatar login (https://en.gravatar.com), add a profile image and assign it to the email associated with your WordPress account.

The image should then be automatically picked up and added to your WP profile.

Taking you from this;

Missing gravatar image

To this;

Gravatar enabled profile

You can assign multiple email accounts to your gravatar login, so you should never get the default profile pic again.

This is a basic tutorial but as I’ve been asked it by two different clients this week I thought it might be helpful to others out there.

If you need more advanced help or would like to have a brand new WordPress site designed and built by Measured Designs, give us a call.
