A new site, new icons

With the formation of lovemoney.com from the financial comparison arm of Fool.co.uk, a new web identity had to be formed. The vector style of TMF images and icons was replaced with photography for promos and a new more realistic icon style.

Here are a couple of the better icons I drew, again using Adobe Illustrator. Some time later I spotted the mobile icon on a webdesign site after a blogger praised the site’s use of contact form with shiny mobile icon – ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’.
