Adding bullet points in Illustrator

Adobe Illustrator

Adding bullet points in Illustrator isn’t that obvious, with many discussion board threads pointing users to using InDesign instead. However I found a quick shortcut thanks to Adobe Community user ScottishRoss.

Inserting a bullet point – Windows

Hold down ALT and type 0149 on the numeric keypad. Releasing the ALT key should insert the bullet point. You can then copy and paste this bullet point, to save you even more time.

Inserting a bullet point – Mac

OPTION + 8, will insert a bullet point.

You can also use paragraph formatting styles and indents, but I found this quick method more than sufficient for my needs.

The original thread can be found here.
